Come and see how simple and wonderful it is to make Maple Syrup the old fashioned way at Lagom Landing’s own sugar shack. Learn what trees can be used, how to tap trees, and how to cook down the sap into syrup while enjoying the great outdoors in this beautiful part of Western New York. Hike, snowshoe* or cross-country ski* (*bring your own equipment) through the woods to collect sap and even sample a drink of sap right from the tree! Warm up at our pancake breakfast running from 10 am – 2 pm. Tickets for this education event are $5/person donation or $20/maximum family donation (for those with children under 18) and include the outdoor, educational activities and an indoor pancake breakfast!
Unfortunately this event is not handicapped accessible and, please, dress warmly as the majority of this event will be spent outdoors no matter what the weather.
Hope to see you out at the sugar shack, enjoying the beauty of nature, and some tasty Maple syrup!
