Lagom Landing will be hosting an Applesauce Canning & Fruit Leather Workshop on Thursday, October 12th starting at 5 pm. Come learn the art of canning applesauce and drying fruit leather and find ways to enjoy Fall’s goodness all winter long. Class will be taught by Cornell Cooperative Extension Food Preservation Expert, Judy Price, who received a grant in 2012 from The American Association of Family and Consumer Science, New York Affiliate which provided Lagom Landing’s initial preserving supplies and training.
We have a few seats available if you would like to learn along with our students. Please let us know with an email or phone call if you are interested in attending so we can have enough apples and supplies for everyone.
