Lagom Landing will be hosting an Meat Canning & Drying Workshop on December 12th starting at 5 pm. Canning meat is a tasty, economical way to preserve meat or game and dried meat makes a great snack. Class will be taught by Cornell Cooperative Extension Food Preservation Expert, Judy Price. Judy will be teaching what cuts of meat can be preserved in this manner, how to operate a pressure canner and a dehydrator and practical tips on canning techniques. This workshop is open to anyone interested in canning meat.
We have a few spots available so if you would like to learn alongside our students, please let us know. This is a hands on class, so spaces are limited.
