Do you enjoy knowing what you are eating? Have you wanted to learn how to preserve the harvest from the Farmer’s Market or your garden? This is the first of a two-part Food Preservation workshop teaching you how to stock your shelves with delicious food that you know the exact ingredients of! Judy Price, a career-long Master Food Preserver for Cornell Cooperative Extension will lead us through making and canning our own applesauce in a boiling water canner, as well as dehydrating apple fruit. We will conclude our afternoon with Dinner, and the option to stay for the weekend at Lagom Landing to savor the fall color!
