Sample Schedule
At Respite and Restoration at Lagom Landing you have permission to do whatever you feel will refresh your body, mind, and heart during your stay. If you want to sleep, read, and be alone, that’s fine!
We also believe that coming together as a community can help us feel less alone. Our space fosters shared space and community reflection as we get to know other participants. Most meals will be on your own, as each unit has their own kitchen. Guests are encouraged to collaborate on meals with one another. Every Wednesday will include a community dinner for all guests.
We encourage you to listen to what your spirit might be longing for. We want to partner with you in crafting this experience, and offer the following Sample Schedule as a jumping off space for conversation.
If you would rather not participate in the labor component of a stay, you are welcome to book through our AirBnB, VRBO and HipCamp platforms.
7 - 9 am Optional exercise, breakfast in apartments
9 am Morning Watch–a time to come together in meditation and reflection
10 am - 12:30 pm *Immersive Experience/Work of choice
12:30 pm - 2 pm Lunch (on own)
2 - 5 pm *Immersive Experience/Work of choice, Field Trip
6 pm Dinner (Wednesdays - Communal Dinner)
7 pm Campfire/Fireplace Discussion, Group Movie
*Guests may choose to participate in “immersive experiences” in a variety of areas based upon their interest and the season of the year. Many of these count as the 2-hour work component. These sessions may include: gardening, food preservation, cooking, yoga, hiking, Enneagram workshops, field trips, carpentry/woodworking, maple syrup production, bread baking, etc. See our full listing of seasonal activities here.
