What does it mean to Practice Gratefulness? Join us as we explore this in a circle, gleaning from one another’s experiences and wisdom. Rather than having a speaker as we did with Speaking with Bread, after eating a meal together we join with an international movement called Grateful Living, founded by Brother David Stendl-Rast. YOUR precious life experience and perspective is valued in this work! If you can bring a dish to pass, we welcome it, but we will generally offer a choice of vegan/gluten free soup and a meat/gluten free soup available along with sourdough bread.
Grateful Gatherings will be held most months on 2nd or 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6 pm.
*Please come even if you can’t bring a dish! There is always enough (lagom!).
“Joy is the happiness that does not depend on what happens in life.”
— Br. David Steindl-Rast, WWII survivor and pioneer monk on interfaith dialogue, Founder of Grateful Living
